Potential test subject! We know you’re thinking of downloading this game, and frankly, we couldn’t be more proud of you. However, federal regulations require* us to state the following: Since releasing this version to iOS, we’ve improved of the game. A lot. Improvements include, but are not limited to: Graphics, gameplay, level design, story and the recipe of the cake.

Feel free to check out the improved version of ChromaGun for PC, Mac and Linux on Steam or the Mac AppStore.

*Federal regulations do not require us to do anything, we just thought it might get your attention.

Welcome to ChromaTec’s research lab!

You’re here, because you’re the best of the best – not because you’re the only ones to apply for the tests. Who gave you that idea?

You’re here to test our newest, state-of-the-art military-grade color-technology: The ChromaGun (patent pending)! Use it to try and solve our meticulously designed test chambers. The basic principle is as easy as applying it is complex: Exit the chambers via the exit doors. But be weary of the WorkerDroids in charge of maintaining the chambers. They’re not exactly what you and I would call “human friendly”.

Use the ChromaGun to colorize walls and WorkerDroids to progress in the chambers. Should you have played with colors as a kid, the concept we like to refer as “mixing” should ring a bell:

Red + Blue = Purple
Red + Yellow = Orange
Blue + Yellow = Green
Everything else makes brown.

Colored objects are attracted to other objects of the same color.
Brown objects are NOT attracted to one another and cannot be colorized further. So be careful what you shoot at, Trigger Happy!

Some doors are more complicated to use than others: They can only be opened using door triggers and only stay open as long as the triggers are occupied.

If all of this sounds like your brain can handle it, congratulations! You’re the perfect candidate for our test chambers! In that context, welcome and good luck!

PS: You will be under constant surveillance by C. McGrey (whom you all will undoubtedly know), to make sure we don’t have to revive you too often.
